Santa Ynez Valley residents and trail enthusiasts will want to know about an important public comment opportunity regarding a CalTrans proposal to remove the Alamo Pintado Creek Pedestrian Bridge in Los Olivos. The bridge has been used by pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians for decades. The current proposal is to remove – but not replace the bridge. Community members can send in letters through October 9th or make comments at a virtual meeting on Tuesday, 9/22 at 5 pm. More details below. Public Comment Sought for State Route 154 Alamo Pintado Creek Pedestrian Bridge Project Caltrans District 5 is accepting public comments on a proposal to remove the Alamo Pintado Creek Pedestrian Bridge adjacent to Foxen Canyon Road and Railway Avenue in Los Olivos.
