We are now taking applications for the National Dislocated Worker Program. This opportunity is for job seekers looking for immediate employment.
THE POSITION
Candidates will get the chance to work, through our program, at the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, completing food distribution tasks. This is a Part-time and temporary job earning $17/hr. – for approximately 5 months. Those that perform well, will get the opportunity to receive additional services including occupational training, a second paid work experience opportunity, and or financial assistance/supportive services.
The initial positions are for Santa Maria and Santa Barbara.
REQUIREMENTS
18 years or older
Driver license and a clean driving record and background check.
Laid off due to COVID or unemployed for more than 15 weeks.
